AN IMPORTANT UPDATE REGARDING SHIPMENTS FROM JAMAICA TO THE U.S.

It is with great regret that we must inform our valued customers of a temporary suspension of postal services for packages being sent from Jamaica to the U.S. This suspension is a direct result of ongoing uncertainty surrounding new U.S. tariff policies and the potential curtailment of the de minimis exemption. Jamaica isn't the only one doing this.

WHAT WE'RE DOING
Our primary goal is to provide the best of Jamaica at the best price no matter where you are, and we are actively working to address this issue. Our shipping partners may not be accepting packages destined for the U.S., but we haven't given up.
We're looking for the best way to get packages to you. We are exploring all available options to minimize the impact on your orders and are working to resolve this as key questions regarding the new processes remain unanswered (such as how and by whom customs duties will be collected).

WHAT TO EXPECT
What about the order(s) I already placed?
We're happy to report that if you ordered before August 26, 2025 and it wasn't a backorder, your order is safe. Your Jamaica Wear is in the system and on its way to you- we know there have been delays in receiving shipping updates, and we're doing everything in our power to make sure no one falls through the cracks.
I'm not in the U.S. I'm fine, right?
Good news and bad news. Unfortunately, the U.S. is a key part of our logistic network, meaning that quite a few non-U.S. shoppers are affected. The GOOD NEWS is that we already have a work around for this, and shipping to those locations (South America, Australia and a few others) are still available, but shipping costs to those regions are gonna take a hit.

What about my current order(s)?
Until further notice- here's what to expect for orders destined for the U.S.
- Delays: Expect delays in the fulfillment of your order. We appreciate your patience as we navigate this situation.
- Order Status: The items you order are still reserved for you. If we anticipate being unable to fulfill your order, we will reach out to you directly to discuss your options. Your order may be cancelled if the situation is not resolved in a timely manner, but if you're a real one and you NEED that Jamaica Wear (we see you 🇯🇲), we'll keep your order reserved until we solve this.
- Payment: We will not collect any payments (you will still see an authorization) until we can confirm that we are able to successfully fulfill and ship your order. If this takes a while, you may be required to redo your checkout when the payment authorization expires.
- Duties: You may be required to pay duties to US Customs. We have no control over this and we are looking into ways to reduce the uncertainty you have to deal with.
We understand the frustration this may cause and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. We are committed to keeping you informed and will provide updates as soon as we can.
